Two different answers,
and which one is yours.

Voqalize is the voice layer other companies build on. That means most of the personal data that moves through our systems isn't ours to explain — it belongs to the company whose product you were talking to. But this website has voice demos on it, and when you talk to one of those, you are talking to us. This page covers both, starting with which is which.

the split

Who is answerable for your voice.

if you used someone else's product

A company used Voqalize to build the voice agent you spoke to. They decide what is collected, whether the call is recorded, how long it is kept, and what it is used for.Their privacy notice governs, and any consent you gave — or should have been asked for — is theirs to obtain. We process that data only on their written instructions, under a data processing agreement, and we do not use it for our own purposes, ever.

This policy does not cover that data. Ask them, and they can ask us.

if you used this website

The pages here, the demo agents in our gallery, and the developer console are ours. There is no other company standing behind them, so we are the controller and this page is the whole notice. If you called one of our demo agents, read the next section — it is the one that actually matters.

This policy covers all of it.

our demo agents

Demo calls are recorded. Here is exactly what happens.

The demos in our gallery connect your microphone to a live voice agent so you can hear the product work rather than read about it. That is a real call on real infrastructure, so it leaves real traces. We tell you before it starts, and we tell you here.

  1. Your microphone opens only after you click join. The browser asks first, and nothing is captured before you accept the notice on the page.
  2. Your audio streams to our servers in India and is transcribed by speech models we run ourselves, on our own machines. No third-party speech vendor is involved.
  3. The transcribed text goes to Google's Gemini API to generate the agent's reply. This is the one point where the content of what you said leaves our infrastructure. It is text by then, not audio.
  4. Both sides of the call are recorded — your audio and the agent's — and stored encrypted, along with a diagnostic log of the session.
  5. Everything from the call is deleted after 30 days, automatically, by a storage lifecycle rule rather than by someone remembering.

And the things we don't do

  • We do not use demo recordings to train voice models — not ours, not anyone's.
  • We do not sell them, share them for advertising, or hand them to anyone beyond the sub-processors named below.
  • We do not try to identify you. Demo calls are anonymous; we ask for no name, no email, no account.
  • We do not keep them past 30 days for any reason, and you can ask us to delete one sooner.

The demos are demonstrations, provided as-is and for that purpose only. Please don't tell one anything personal, confidential, or sensitive — not because we would misuse it, but because a demo is the wrong place to put it, and 30 days is longer than a demo needs to exist.

the rest of the site

What the website itself collects.

Less than you might expect, because we haven't built the machinery to.

No analytics, no tracking

There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel, and no cross-site tracker on this site. We do not know who you are or which pages you read. The only thing stored in your browser is which theme you picked, and that never leaves it.

No cookie banner, because no cookies

We set none that require consent. Your theme preference lives in local storage as a strictly functional setting.

Fonts load from Google

Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google and your IP address is visible to them in doing so. It's the one third-party request on the page, and we name it rather than pretend the site is fully self-contained.

If you write to us

Email you send reaches a mailbox we keep. We use it to answer you and nothing else, and we don't add you to a mailing list you didn't ask for.

developer accounts

If you build on Voqalize.

Creating an account gives us your name and email address (through Google sign-in), the agents and keys you create, and a record of what your agents ran and for how long. We use it to run the service, bill it when billing exists, keep it secure, and talk to you about it. We record sign-ins, key creation and revocation, and administrative actions — that audit trail is a security control, and it is one of the few things we keep for longer than the data itself.

Your customers' call data is a different matter entirely — see the split above. You choose whether recording is on, and we will honour a deletion request for any session you name.

how long we keep things

Every number here is enforced by a rule, not a promise.

retention schedule

Retention on your own agents' call data is yours to set, not ours — that's what "you decide" means. Ask and we will delete any of it on request.

where it goes

Every third party a call touches.

Data is processed in India. Our servers, our database and our storage are all in the asia-south1 region or in Indian data centres; nothing is stored outside the country. Three parties are involved in a demo call and these are all of them.

Google LLC
Google Cloud Platform — the control plane, database, and storage, all in the asia-south1 (Mumbai) region. Firebase Hosting serves this website.
Google LLC (Gemini API)
The language model behind the demo agents on this site. What you say to a demo, once transcribed, is sent to this API to generate the reply.
E2E Networks Limited
Bare-metal servers in India that run the voice pipeline and the demo agents. Audio passes through these machines.

When this list changes, this page changes with it. Customers running production agents are told before a new sub-processor is added, under their DPA.

your rights

What you can ask us for.

Whether you're covered by the GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, or neither, we'll do all of the following on request. One email is enough — no form, no account.

Ask what we hold
We will tell you, and give you a copy.
Ask us to delete it
We will, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Ask us to correct it
Account data you cannot edit yourself, we will fix.
Withdraw consent
Stop using the demos; ask us to delete the recording early.
Complain
To us first, and to your data protection authority regardless.

If you used a customer's product rather than ours, send the request to them — they hold the decision, and we are obliged to help them act on it.

security

How the data is protected.

Audio is encrypted in transit (DTLS-SRTP on the call itself, TLS everywhere else) and at rest in storage. Every tenant's data is separated at the data layer, and every request is authorised against the tenant it names before it reads anything. Access to production systems is limited to named people, reviewed periodically, and logged. Voqalize is built inside an organisation that holds ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 certification, and it is being brought under that same management system as the product matures.

Ask us anything on this page.

Privacy questions, deletion requests, or a DPA for a production deployment — same address, and a person reads it.
