Sign up and the first 300 conversation minutes are free, on either product. Speech in both directions, turn-taking, the connection and the character are all part of the per-minute price.

A voice agent has two parts. The voice listens and speaks: the call, speech-to-text, text-to-speech, turn-taking and the character. The brain is the AI that decides what to say and do, and it runs on an LLM.

  • Plug & Play. We host both on our cloud: the voice and your brain, with its LLM.
  • Developer Integration. We host the voice on our cloud. You host the brain on your own servers, with your own LLM.

That is why a Plug & Play minute costs a little more.

What is a billable minute?
Audio connect to session end, counted by the second and totalled monthly.
Why does a Plug & Play minute cost more?
Because we also host your brain and pay for the LLM it runs on. With Developer Integration you host the brain yourself and pay your LLM provider directly.
Do the free minutes work on both?
Yes. The 300 minutes at signup work on Plug & Play and on Developer Integration.
Is the LLM included?
With Plug & Play, yes. We host your brain and its LLM, and the cost is part of your per-minute price. With Developer Integration, no. Your brain runs on your servers, and you pay your LLM provider directly.
Are speech-to-text and text-to-speech billed separately?
No. We run both models ourselves, and both are part of the per-minute price on every plan.
What about recording and storage?
Both apply only when you record calls, on every plan. Recording is billed per recorded minute, and storage per GB a month for the recordings you keep. No plan includes storage, and without recording you pay for neither.
What happens past my included minutes?
Sessions keep connecting. Every further minute bills at your plan’s rate for your product.
Do unused minutes carry over?
No. The block resets at the start of each month.
What happens at my concurrency limit?
The next session is refused with a named error your code can catch. Email us and we raise the ceiling.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at renewal.
Can I pay in rupees?
Yes. Indian customers are invoiced in rupees, plus any applicable taxes.
Does Voqalize do telephony?
No. Voqalize runs in a browser or a mobile app, next to the screen the user is already on.
Can the speech models run in my VPC?
Yes. That is an enterprise deployment. Talk to us and we will scope it.
